Middle River Water Taxi is a seasonal service operated by Master's Licensed Captains providing water transportation on the waterways of Middle River.
The family-owned business started in 2003 with one 24' Sweetwater pontoon boat with a six passenger maximum capacity. As the season progressed, we quickly realized there was a need for a larger vessel to accommodate the volume of customers. A second and larger vessel was added in 2004. The newest addition to our fleet is a 44', U.S. Coast Guard inspected vessel carrying up to 37 passengers. Based on the overall popularity of the water taxi service, we are continuing to expand our fleet.
The water taxi service is available for parties of eight or more and advance notice is highly recommended. During the summer we experience a high demand for group service and reservations are often made weeks in advance. Our taxi service is a point-to-point destination versus a set route schedule. Call and advise us of where and when you would like the taxi service. The captain will inform you the availability of the vessel and how long it will take the taxi to reach you from the vessel's location on the water.
